Experiential Learning Opportunities
In addition to customizing your degree through specialized coursework, the Full-Time MBA Program also has several opportunities for customizing your degree through experiential learning programs. These optional programs can add value to your MBA degree by providing rich, unique experiences outside of the classroom that complement your in-class learning.
Study Abroad
In today’s global economy, an MBA with international experience is a hot commodity. Full-Time MBA Program students have the opportunity to spend part of their program abroad at one of our international exchange partner schools.
Costs are reasonable and may be offset by scholarships.

The Washington Campus
The Full-Time MBA Program is a member of an elite group of 16 MBA programs whose students participate in The Washington Campus.
The Washington Campus program is a week-long educational residency in Washington, D.C., that provides you the opportunity to learn how decisions made in Washington affect the success, profitability and growth of your business from the nation’s top policy makers.
All MBA students participating in this program will pay tuition and fees to The Washington Campus program. Students may also earn 3 hours of course credit for participation in The Washington Campus. If a student receives course credit for this experience, they will pay tuition and fees to Washington Campus and the tuition and fees required for three credit hours at A&M. At this time students are allowed to use this course credit to replace the required elective in the fourth term.
Scholarship support through the Full-Time MBA Program assists students in defraying travel costs.
You can participate in The Washington Campus over Spring Break in March, or in May or June sessions of your first year. For more information visit www.washcampus.edu.
Aggies on Wall Street
Each year a select number of students from all Mays Business School degree programs are chosen to participate in the Aggies on Wall Street program, a three-week immersion into the heart of America’s financial district.
While in New York, students meet with executives (many of whom are former students of Texas A&M University) from the world’s most prestigious banking and investment firms. Companies that have participated in the program include: Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Salomon Smith Barney, Bank of America, Standard & Poor’s, and the New York Stock Exchange.
Participants make valuable connections, as well as see first-hand what business is like in the Big Apple.
