What are the admissions deadlines for international applicants?

The final deadline for international applicants to apply is March 1st.

I haven’t received any feedback on the application that I submitted, even after the interview.

Don’t worry. The online application system that you used to submit your application monitors all phases of the application process. After submission, your application status will read as submitted until a change in status occurs. Once an admissions decision has been made, the online application system will automatically send an email to the address that you specified on the application.

What is the minimum GMAT/GRE score that the Texas A&M Full-Time MBA Program requires?

We do not have any minimum requirements for the total scores of these exams; however, all applicants must score higher than the 50th percentile on both the verbal and quantitative sections to be considered for admission. Do you offer an application fee waiver?

We do not offer any application fee waivers for any applicants, with the exception of prior or current military service. If you meet these requirements, please read the directions on the online application to see how to you can get your application fee waived. Do not submit your application beforehand.

How do I submit recommendation letters?

Our online application system will automatically send an email to any recommender that you choose. You will only need to specify their contact information and the system will track the responses for you. If you have another form of recommendation, please feel free to mail it to our office address, but please note that this may delay processing.

What if I don’t have two years of post-baccalaureate work experience?

The Full-Time MBA Program will occasionally consider an applicant with non-traditional full-time work experience prior to or during their undergraduate program. Candidates who are admitted without the traditional two years of work experience must demonstrate exceptional strengths in all other components of their application.

What type of transcripts will I need to submit?

For the application, we only require unofficial transcripts for any and all post-secondary institutions that you attended. If you cannot upload these to the online application for whatever reason, please email them to mbahelp@mays.tamu.edu or mail them to our office address.

Does Texas A&M offer university housing?

Texas A&M does offer graduate student housing, which is typically geared more towards international students with families. However, the majority of students choose to live off-campus. Fortunately, the cost of living in the Bryan/College Station area is very low.

Do I need a car while I’m going through the program?

While you don’t absolutely need a car, it can certainly help you get around the nation’s largest campus by area. Luckily, Texas A&M also runs the largest non-metro bus system that connects the greater College Station area, which is free for students.
