Scholarships and Fellowships

Students in Mays Business School's Full-Time MBA Program enjoy one of the most affordable tuition structures in the nation. If you qualify, you may take advantage of scholarships, fellowships and graduate assistantships.

Scholarships

Significant scholarship funding is available to support the Full-Time MBA Program. Competitive scholarships are based upon various factors, including work experience and academic potential. Awards range from $2,000 to $10,000 and provide resident tuition status to non-Texas residents.

All scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. Early application is strongly advised for consideration for major awards. Candidates wishing to receive scholarship consideration should submit a complete application in the first two rounds of admission.

After the first two rounds of admission, additional scholarships are awarded based upon available funding.

No special application is needed for scholarship consideration. All admitted students are automatically considered for scholarship support.

Additional scholarships support activities of current students such as international study abroad, the Washington Campus, and Aggies on Wall Street.

Fellowships

Texas A&M University offers two very significant fellowships for incoming graduate students.

Graduate Diversity Fellowship

Established to attract students with a proven record of success in a diverse environment, the Graduate Diversity Fellowship provides significant funding each year: $13,000 annual stipend, $5,000 annually for tuition and fees and a graduate assistantship, which pays a minimum of $7,000 per year and includes a health insurance option. The total award package for the Graduate Diversity Fellowship for two years is over $50,000.

Graduate Merit Fellowship

This highly competitive fellowships funds $25,000 in the first year, support for health insurance costs, and additional funds to support the completion of the MBA.

Both the Graduate Diversity Fellowship and the Graduate Merit Fellowship are limited to U.S. Citizens. Each award also provides resident tuition status to any student who is not a resident of the state of Texas.

Consideration for both the Graduate Diversity Fellowship and the Graduate Merit Fellowship takes place in early January each year. Therefore, candidates who wish to be considered for these prestigious fellowships must submit complete applications prior to January 4.
