MBA Venture Challenge
Sponsored by Mays Business School’s Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship, the MBA Venture Challenge (formerly known as the Tech Transfer Challenge) is a competition that challenges MBA students to assess the commercial viability of an existing firm based upon research conducted at Texas A&M.
After two weeks of research and analysis, MBA students deliver a 2-minute elevator pitch and a 15-minute “venture pitch” presentation to judges from the business and academic community, and compete for $6,000 in prize money.
The challenge is held during term 3 of the first year, and is a mandatory part of the MBA curriculum.
